Auburn Rotary Club honors Auburn Riverside's Galeno

The Auburn Rotary Club recognized Joey Galeno on April 16 for his outstanding accomplishments as a student at Auburn Riverside High School.

Galeno, son of Paul and Erin Galeno, is a senior at Auburn Riverside.

While at Auburn Riverside, Galeno has maintained a 4.0 GPA, earned six varsity letters in football and baseball, and participated in honor society and the sports medicine club.

In the community, Galeno has volunteered as a referee for the Upwards youth basketball program and the Auburn Food Bank.

After graduation, Galeno will be attending the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif., to study bioengineering and play baseball.

Pacific is a member of the Division I West Coast Conference.
