The Striped Water Poets will present “Poets on Parade” and “Literary Adventures” on Aug. 9-10 during the Auburn Good Ol’ Days festival.

Auburn authors will sign and read excerpts from their books interspersed with poetry open mic. They will be joined by a small press exhibit. The exhibit and book signing will take place in the middle of the festival in the Auburn Avenue Theater, 10 Auburn Ave.

Seattle’s Jack McCarthy, who brings a “standup poetry” performance style, will conduct a workshop from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Aug. 10. It will be conjoined with a book signing, reading/open mic, poetry contest and cash prizes.
