GET YOUR CAR WASHED, HELP A

FAMILY IN NEED: Today from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., friends of a local family in need will wash cars in the parking lot of Skills Inc., 718 30th Ave. N., behind the Pontiac car dealership. Look for the large signs with balloons on B Street and Auburn Way North. “The husband and wife are presently not working. She has a severe health condition, and they can’t pay all their bills,” said Therese Miller, who is helping to organize the event. “All proceeds will help the family get back on its feet.”
