An employee of an Auburn truck shop was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center on Tuesday afternoon after the truck he was working with rolled onto his midsection. The truck shop is located in the 1700 block of E Street Northeast.

Valley Regional Fire Authority firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics were called to the truck shop at 3:47 p.m.

The man, estimated to be in his 20s, lay conscious near the large dual-wheel container truck that had caused the injury.

Firefighters and paramedics evaluated the man, stabilized him and transported him to the Auburn Airport. Airlift Northwest flew the man to Harborview for further evaluation of his injuries.
