GOING GREEN: Green River Community College’s Continu

GOING GREEN: Green River Community College’s Continuing Education, in conjunction with the City of Auburn, will present “Going Green Northwest” on Thursday. The community service program will present a variety of resources in how to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprints. The event will offer resources and information through displays, exhibits, presenters and vendors on topics such as recycling, energy conservation, sustainability, natural yard care and composting, household hazardous waste, solar energy and building green. The event, which is free to the public, will be held at the Auburn’s main campus in the Lindbloom Student Center from 4:30 to 9 p.m., with specific top presentations from 6-8 p.m.
