Reporter moving to Friday
December 1, 2008 · Updated 3:21 PM
The Auburn Reporter is moving to a once-a-week print edition in order to concentrate on improving daily news coverage on its Web page, auburn-reporter.com.
The move is strategic, as readers will find more local news on the Internet and advertisers will tap into online readership.
The first once-a-week print edition is Friday, Jan. 2. The Auburn Reporter now is delivered for free on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The Auburn Reporter intends to continue providing readers with essential news, features, sports, opinion, business and entertainment news.
“Our goal is to be the preeminent provider of local content and advertising in the Valley,” said Josh O’Connor, vice president of East Sound Newspaper Operations, Sound Publishing, Inc.
