Auburn Mayor Pete Lewis was elected to serve as president on the Suburban Cities Association Board of Directors for 2009.

The SCA is a nonprofit organization serving 37 suburban cities in King County with a population of 831,050. Its mission is to provide leadership through advocacy, education, mutual support and networking to suburban cities in King County as they act locally and partner regionally to create livable vital communities.
