Man injured in rollover accident

Units from the Valley Regional Fire Authority assisted East Pierce Fire and Rescue on a single-vehicle rollover accident in the 14800 block of 8th Street east in Sumner on Monday.

A man in his 40s was ejected from his vehicle after it rolled while heading west bound on 8th Street East.

The patient was rapidly extricated and transported by East Pierce Medic's to Saint Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma.

The accident is under investigation by Auburn police.
