Paving to be done on 17th Street SE

The R Street Utility Improvements Project will perform asphalt paving activities on 17th Street SE, Auburn Way South and arterial roads between on Friday (Sept. 25), Monday (Sept. 28) and Tuesday (Sept. 29).

Paving operation will occur between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Through traffic will be maintained along with access to adjacent properties.

During these closures, detours will be in place as required to direct traffic around each closure. However, intersection closures will not be occurring at the same time. Through traffic on Auburn Way South will be maintained but will be restricted to one lane in each direction.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and expect delays.
