City to hold 2 flood preparedness meetings

The City of Auburn has scheduled two public informational meetings for residents regarding the increased risk of flooding in the Green River Valley.

The meetings will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, and 2-4 p.m, Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Auburn Performing Arts Center, 700 East Main St. American Sign Language Interpreters (ASL) will be available at the Oct. 24 meeting.

Representatives from the Army Corps of Engineers, King County Flood Control District, and the City of Auburn will be on-hand to provide information and answer questions.
