Pacific to hold candidates forum

Pacific is holding a City Council candidates forum at 7-9 p.m. Thursday at New Hope Church, 603 3rd Ave. SE.

The public is invited.

Scheduled to appear are incumbent Barbara Lourdes and challenger John Jones for Council Position No. 2; newcomers Kevin Cline and James McMahan for Position No. 5; and incumbent Leanne Guier, who is running unopposed for Position No. 4.

The forum is being arranged and sponsored by Pacific residents.

The public is asked to bring a canned food donation for the area food bank.
