The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has canceled the construction-related closure on Highway 18 near Auburn on Saturday.

WSDOT earlier announced that the highway at milepost 6.2-9 (approximately between the Auburn/Black Diamond exit and the SE 304th Street exit) would be closed to all traffic on Nov. 7 from 5 a.m.-2 p.m.

WSDOT Bridge crews are planning to reinforce the bridge at Green River in preparation of the anticipated flooding.

Detour is available by using SR 167 or I-5 to Hwy 405 to I-90 east.
