The 22nd Street Northeast pavement overlay scheduled to be completed last month has been rescheduled in order to accommodate work being completed by King County, the Army Corps of Engineers, and the City of Auburn on the levee system along the Green River.

The overlay work will be postponed and rescheduled for spring 2010.

This will allow the agencies to complete the emergency enhancements to the levee system in preparation for potential flooding from the diminished capacity of the Howard Hanson Dam.

Construction of the City’s 2007 Sewer Main Repair and Replacement project began in September and replaced nearly 1,600 lineal feet of sanitary sewer force main, installed 21 new water service connections, and completed pavement patching from O St. NE to Riverview Dr. the street overlay will finalize this project.
