A field of 22 contestants will compete for the crown in the Miss Auburn Scholarship Pageant on Feb. 4-5 at the Auburn Performing Arts Center, 700 E. Main St.

The program will include talent competition on Thursday evening only, with the finals to be held Friday. The program, “Around the World in Two Nights”, will begin at 7 p.m. each day.

The program again will support the Auburn Food Bank. Those who donate $1 can vote for their favorite contestant on both nights. Votes will go toward a scholarship award for the winning contestant, with all proceeds from the voting benefiting the food bank.

The pageant, sponsored by the Auburn Noon Lions, is regarded as the largest and most successful local program in the country.

Tickets, ranging from $20-35, are on sale now. Ticket orders received after Jan. 28 will be held at will call. To order tickets or to learn more about the pageant, please visit www.missauburn.org.
