Traffic advisory: Auburn Way South, south of Poplar Street

The City of Auburn will be doing road work on a portion of Auburn Way South, in the vicinity of Poplar Street Southeast and continuing a half-mile south on Auburn Way South. The work will complete pavement striping and will start at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9 and continue until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10.

Through traffic and local access to properties will be maintained within the construction limits but the construction work may require reducing the number of travel lanes. Traffic delays should be anticipated.

Certified flaggers will provide traffic control within the work area. The striping work is weather dependent.
