An alert passerby spotted smoke coming from a motor home parked in the RV lot of the Auburn Eagles Club at 702 M St. SE Thursday. The Good Samaritan also is credited for pulling a man out of a burning RV.

The first 911 call was received at approximately 11 p.m. reporting the fire. The first fire engine arrived three minutes later and found the motor home fully involved in and the occupant of the motor home removed from the burning vehicle by the passerby.

King County Medic One Paramedics treated the seriously injured victim and transported him to Harborview Medical Center while the fire was extinguished.

Fire investigators from the VRFA are on scene but have yet to determine a cause of the fire.
