Muckleshoot Tribal Council sets discharge limits on fireworks

The Tribal Council passed a resolution Friday "setting daily times when discharge of fireworks must stop on the Muckleshoot Reservation."

The times established for discharge are as follows: 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday; 7 a.m.-midnight, Friday and Saturday; 7 a.m.-2 a.m., July Fourth.

The council also directed staff to produce and display signage informing people of the time limits.

According to Auburn Mayor Pete Lewis, a copy of the ordinance was delivered to the Auburn Police Department.
