Auburn Arts Commission looks to fill 3 openings

The Auburn Arts Commission is looking to fill three openings.

Commission meetings are scheduled on the first Tuesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at the City Hall Annex at One Main Street. Membership term is three years and is open to residents of Auburn interested in the promotion and advocacy of the arts in Auburn.

Through a shared vision, leadership and service, the Auburn Arts Commission’s goal is to integrate the arts into all aspects of community life. There are 12 arts commission members who are appointed by the mayor and approved by the City Council.

City boards and commissions are charged with specialized tasks, which provide invaluable aid to City Council in making sound decisions for the benefit of the City and its residents. These tasks require specific knowledge, experience and qualifications.
