Auburn High’s FIRST Robotic Team, TREAD, makes world stage

Auburn High’s FIRST Robotic Team, TREAD, qualified to compete in the FIRST Robotics World Championship for the first time, joining a team from Auburn Mountainview.

Sixteen students from Auburn High will travel to Houston to compete April 19-22. Up to 600 teams from around the world will be present.

Auburn’s team earned points at competitions; winning the Central Washington competition and finishing as semifinalists at the Auburn competition. All points are combined to determine which teams qualify for moving forward.
