Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between May 21 and 22

May 21

Misdemeanor harassment: 4:30 a.m., 1800 block 22nd Way NE. Somebody harassed a woman with a barrage of unwanted text messages in the wee, small hours of the morning.

Theft from vehicle: Overnight, 11500 block of Southeast 302nd Court. Somebody stole a laptop and a handbag from a woman’s vehicle.

Shoplifting: 2:10 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. The pair of shoes a thief lifted from Famous Footwear in the Outlet Collection mall and fled with didn’t help him outrun police, as they caught up with and busted his thieving person.

Harassment: 5:20 p.m. 30000 block of 132nd Avenue Southeast. Two adults at an Auburn business wigged out and threatened an employee.

May 22

Assault: 3:20 a.m., 202 N. Division St. Police arrested a guy at MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for assaulting a security officer, interfering with a health care facility and trespassing.

Assault: 12:51 p.m., 2300 block of A Street Southeast. Person A claimed person B assaulted him, but B said it was the other way around. Neither man wanted to pursue charges but asked that the incident be documented.
