Auburn Police blotter | April 20

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between April 10 and 15:

April 10

Vandalism: Overnight, 1100 block of 22nd Street Northeast. An unknown person kicked the front door of an empty home, damaging it and the lock.

April 11

Commercial burglary: 7:45 a.m., 135 A PL SE. A bicycle officer saw two guys leaving the Virtual Reality Arcade carrying about 26 pounds of copper wire.

Theft 12:45 a.m., 400 block of 8th Street Northwest. A thief stole a commercial work truck.

Possession of stolen vehicle: 4 p.m., 2817 R Place SE. Police arrested two guys who tried to run away from the stolen vehicle they were in.

April 12

Commercial burglary: 1:49 a.m., 260 44th St. NW. Burglars hit a commercial business.

Theft: 9:21 a.m., 1701 Auburn Way S. Somebody vandalized a woman’s vehicle and stole her backpack.

Theft:: 4 p.m., 6700 block of Montevista Drive Southeast. Somebody purloined a woman’s prescribed pills.

April 13

Controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia: 1:02 a.m., 2100 block of Auburn Way South. Police arrested some guy for first-degree criminal trespassing and for having drug paraphernalia.

April 15

Disorderly conduct: 11:37 a.m., 20 block of A Street Southwest. Somebody exposed him or herself indecently, grossing somebody else out.

Drugs under the arches: 9:18 p.m., 1304 Outlet Collection Way SW. Police busted a guy for having heroin and methamphetamine at The Outlet Collection McDonald’s.
