Auburn Police blotter | Aug. 4

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between July 27 and 31:

July 27

Controlled substance: 8:55 a.m., 340 E. Main St. Police arrested a woman under 21 years of age for possessing pot.

Forgery: 1:10 p.m., 18 Auburn Way N. A woman tried to cash a bogus check and police arrested her for the monetary misdeed.

Drug paraphernalia: 5:45 p.m., 1300 block of 28th Place Southeast. While a woman was sitting in a parked car in front of a house with known drug activity, police arrested her for having drug paraphernalia on her person.

July 28

Theft: Overnight, 2900 block of Auburn Way South. Somebody went on a spending spree throughout Auburn with someone else’s stolen credit card.

Vandalism: 6:45 p.m., 2700 block of 18th Street Southeast. Police arrested a man for domestic violence malicious mischief and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Assault with a firearm: 10:39 p.m., 1400 block of 8th Street Northeast. Somebody pointed a gun at a woman.

July 29

Trespassing: 12:21 p.m., 404 22nd St. SE. The Auburn Food Bank booted a woman from the premises for misdeeds undisclosed.

July 30

Assault: 1 a.m., 200 block of 1st Avenue East. Police arrested a man for beating on his girlfriend.

Vandalism: 9:45 p.m., 700 block of 47th Street Southeast. A female damaged a television during an argument.

July 31

Vandalism: 12:23 a.m., 936 Auburn Way S. Somebody tossed a brick through a window of Nexus Youth and Families’ executive offices and ran off.
