Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Dec. 11 and 18:

Dec. 11

Burglary: 5:54 a.m., 1509 O St. SW. Burglars burgled a business.

Theft: 11:50 a.m., 1500 block of N Street Northeast. The owner of a firearm reported it as stolen.

Theft: 12:15 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Somebody broke into a vehicle and swiped a laptop computer.

Dec. 12

Shoplifting: 10:49 a.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a person of the female gender, girl or woman, police did not disclose, for a spasm of late-morning shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction, all going down at Safeway.

Postal theft: 11:18 a.m., 2500 block of 26th Street Southeast. Somebody saw a thief swipe an Amazon package from someone else’s front porch

Felony eluding: 12:17 p.m., 1101 Collection Drive SW. A male took an arm load of clothes and left an undisclosed store without paying, then got into an accident, from which he skedaddled.

Theft: 8:33 p.m., 200 block of N Street Southeast. An unknown thief took 64 oxycodone from an elderly man.

Theft: 3:15 p.m., 1300 block of 3rd Street Southeast. Somebody stole a package off a residential porch.

Dec. 13

Theft: 7:20 p.m., 1300 block of Auburn Way N. A man reported his wallet stolen from inside his vehicle.

Dec. 14

Obstructing justice: 3:15 p.m., 200 block of E Street Northeast. Police arrested a man for obstructing law enforcement.

Assault with a knife: 5:53 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a woman at Safeway for felony assault with a knife.

Dec. 15

Theft: 1:06 p.m., 801 Auburn Way N. A Fred Meyer employee was investigated for internal theft, and the case was referred to the city prosecutor’s office.

Vandalism: 8:39 p.m., 1424 Auburn Way S. A juvenile reportedly damaged household goods at the South King County Youth Shelter in Auburn.
