Auburn Police blotter | Feb. 17

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Feb. 7 and 12:

Feb. 12

Theft: overnight, 2500 block of D Street Southeast. Somebody slurped up gas from a vehicle.

Vandalism: 11 a.m., 510 M St, SE. A female, age undisclosed, intentionally broke an apartment window.

Theft: 12:32 p.m., 2600 block of 24th Street Southeast. SE. Somebody broke into a car and stole a bag.

Vandalism: 6:08 p.m., 2000 Auburn Way S. A boy threw a large tree branch across four lanes of traffic, striking a moving vehicle, and damaging the front windshield and driver side mirror.

Feb. 13

Counterfeiting: 3:18 p.m., 2117 Auburn Way S. Some shyster fobbed a bogus $50 bill off on the Muckleshoot Bingo Hall.

Burglary: Overnight, 1911 Auburn Way N. A burglar or burglars broke into a business and left a threatening note behind.

Feb. 11

Theft: Noon, 1600 block of 17th Street Southeast. Somebody stole two puppies from the back yard of a residence. One was later recovered.

Possession of paraphernalia: 7 p.m., 1002 Outlet Collection Way SW. Police busted a woman they’d found asleep in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with drug paraphernalia in her possession.

Vandalism: 8 p.m., 2840 Riverwalk Drive Southeast. Two boys broke building windows at City of Auburn property. Police have since referred the case to the King County Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office.

Weapons offense: 11:31 p.m., 1400 block of 63rd Court Southeast. For reasons undisclosed, a male, no age given, fired four rounds from a handgun into the air.

Feb. 10

Burglary: 7:30 a.m., 900 18th Place NE. Somebody stole a generator from a construction site.

Burglary: 11:35 p.m., 808 9th St. SE. The Auburn Senior Center reported that an unknown man had stolen multiple items from the center a week earlier.

Animal problem: 12:53 p.m., 4910 A St. SE. A stray, injured cat was brought in to the Auburn Valley Humane Society.

Robbery by firearm: 6:10 p.m., 3300 block of Auburn Way S. Police tried to find an armed robbery suspect.

Feb. 9

Narcan administered: 8:48 a.m., 520 E. Main St. Narcan was administered to a prisoner en transit to Kent Jail.

Controlled substance: 11:46 a.m., 711 E. Main St. A high school student in Auburn was suspended from school and arrested for being in possession of marijuana blunts at school.

Felony vandalism: 2:34 p.m., 4250 Auburn Way N. Somebody broke one of Sound Mental Health’s windows.

Feb. 8

Shoplifting: 8:11 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a man for shoplifting fried chicken and ice cream from Safeway.

Feb. 7

Animal injuring human: 10 p.m., 11000 block of Southeast 322nd Place. An off-leash dog bit a child. The dog was quarantined at home and the owner was cited.

Vandalism: 2:30 p.m., 2100 block of Noble Court Southeast. A 33-year-old man got into an argument with his 83-year-old granny and in a fit of temper broke a collectible ornament.
