Auburn Police blotter | Feb. 4

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Jan. 23 and 29:

Jan. 23

Burglary: Overnight, 1102 Auburn Way S. The Auburn Library was burgled of undisclosed stuff.

Theft: 10:30 a.m., 3405 Auburn Way N. Suspects unknown reached into a car, grabbed a backpack and ran off with it.

Animal problem: 3 p.m., 1312 17th St. NE. A Good Samaritan picked up an injured cat and motored it to the Sumner Veterinary Hospital. Auburn’s animal control officer later transported the kitty to the Auburn Valley Humane Society.

Marijuana: 2:25 p.m., 711 E. Main St. Auburn High School authorities suspended two high school students for having marijuana, and the City’s prosecutor intends to charge them for having it.

Theft: 3:44 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. A male and female purloined pricey purses from Michael Kors and ran outside with them to a getaway car.

Theft: 7:15 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Somebody thieved a wallet from an employee at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Jan. 24

Vandalism: Overnight, 101 2nd St. NE. A person or persons unknown broke one of South Sound Surgery’s windows overnight.

Burglary: Overnight, 712 12th St. SE. Meanwhile, a suspect as unknown as the above broke a window to a business, slithered inside and stole undisclosed items.

Theft: 9 a.m., 2600 block of Skyway Lane Southeast. Person A, unknown, stole two gaming consoles from Person B.

Trespassing: 6:27 p.m., 800 A St. NW. Peterson Cheese Company told some misbehaving dude to scram from its wooded property.

Jan. 25

Auto theft: 11 a.m., 9500 S 277th St. Somebody stole a vehicle with a flat tire that had been parked on the side of the road, key in the ignition

Strong arm street robbery: 1:42 p.m., 499 49th St. NE.A man was robbed at the site of the former Valley 6 Drive-In.

Jan. 27

Malicious mischief: 8:20 p.m., 30200 block of 108th Avenue SE. Just what the unknown miscreant practiced his or her malicious mischief skills on remains undisclosed, but according to police, something darn sure occurred.

Jan. 29

Burglary, arson, vandalism: Somebody or several somebodies stole a car in a burglary, but it was recovered after the Valley Regional Fire Authority discovered it aflame.

Burglary: 12:12 p.m., 1102 Auburn Way S. The Auburn Library was burgled again, and this time the burglar or burglars damaged a vending machine inside.
