Auburn Police blotter | Jan. 20

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Jan. 10 and 15:

Jan. 10

Commercial burglary: Overnight, 815 C St. SW. Unknown bad guys broke into Marvel Food and Deli and stole an undisclosed number of computers worth an undisclosed amount of money.

Animal problem: 9:17 a.m., 31000 block of 126th Avenue Southeast. Auburn’s animal control officer found a licensed pit bull mix loose in its front yard and later returned said dog to its owner, who had been at work.

Trespassing: 12:15 a.m., 222 A St. SE. When O’Reilly Auto Parts had had all it could take from a naughty man and a woman, out they went, those two, not to return.

Burglary: 2 a.m., 2904 A St. SE. A burglar or burglars stole an undisclosed number of tools during an overnight commercial burglary of Herb’s Complete Auto Repair.

Theft of property: 1:40 p.m., 2407 Stuck River Drive SE. Thieves smashed the windows of seven vehicles and stole things therein during a 10-minute interval at Wilderness Game Farm Park.

Jan. 11

Burglary: Overnight, 2306 Auburn Way N. Suspects entered the sales office of Lucash Motors and stole multiple items, including the keys to a silver 2005 BMW 645I, which they also stole.

Shoplifting: 4 p.m., 4010 A St. SE. Police arrested a kid — of gender undisclosed but said gender known to both the kid and law enforcement — for shoplifting $685 worth of vitamins and medications from Albertsons.

Jan. 12

Burglary: 8 a.m., 202 8th St. SE. Burglars illicitly entered a fenced area of Valley Pump Water Purification Services and stole and destroyed numerous items.

Jan. 14

Shoplifting: 7:38 a.m., 4026 A St. SE. A thief stole smokes and food from a convenience store and fled in a red, two-door vehicle before police could get there.

Assault with hands and fists: 5:40 p.m., 400 block of 21st Street Southeast. Police arrested the perpetrator of an act of domestic violence, gender undisclosed.

Trespassing: 10:14 a.m., 801 Auburn Way N. “Stay away,” said Fred Meyer to a man, but, no, the guy wouldn’t listen, so he returned and police arrested him.

Jan. 15

Trespassing: 10:03 a.m., 1702 Auburn Way N. Saars Super Saver Foods saved itself from additional irritation by ejecting a dude for undisclosed acts of badness and wrongness.

Burglary: 7:30 p.m., 4200 block of A Street SE. Somebody broke into a man’s shed overnight.

Shoplifting: 10:24 a.m., 601 Auburn Way S. Three boys entered a convenience store, and one of them stole four bags of candy before the thieving band fled on foot.
