Auburn Police blotter | June 14

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between June 3 and June 9:

June 3

Assault: 7:45 a.m., 6800 block of Udall Place Southeast. A boy assaulted his mother.

Harassment: 9:46 a.m., 5700 block of Auburn Way S. A woman complained that her ex-boyfriend was sending her threatening text messages.

Found property: 4 p.m., 1700 Lake Tapps Parkway SE. Somebody found a pistol and handed it over to police.

June 6

Assault: 8 a.m., 12900 block of Southeast 296th Way. A guy took a knife to his roommate, for which police found reason to bust him.

June 8

Theft from vehicle: 4:06 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Somebody swiped a pistol from an unlocked vehicle on the Safeway parking lot.

June 9

Burglary: 8 a.m., 30600 block of 128th Place East. Somebody stole a bicycle from a garage

Found property: 8:41 a.m., 29827 Green River Road SE. Somebody found a pistol.

Vandalism: 5:30 p.m., 1700 block of I Street Northeast. A misbehaving youth pitched a rock through a windshield.

June 10

Theft: 9:08 a.m., 4000 block of A Street Southeast. Somebody stole credit card numbers and then somebody, perhaps the same somebody, perhaps another somebody, used them to pay rent for an apartment in Puyallup.

Assault: 10:30 a.m., 105 1st St. NE. Police arrested a woman for domestic violence after she laid into her husband outside of a bank.

Felony theft: 3 p.m., 29400 block of 59th Avenue South. A senior citizen complained that she had inadvertently provided her personal information over the phone to a stranger on May 23 and is now missing $5,500 from her bank account.
