Auburn Police blotter | June 22

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between June 13 and 17:

June 13

Theft: 9 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. While a man was at his place of employment, some thieving twit stole his wallet from a back room.

June 14

Theft: 1347 Auburn Way N. Somebody stole a man’s undisclosed items from a locked locker.

Arson: 3:51 p.m., 1420 17th St. SE. A firebug got his or her pathetic jollies at the expense of the residents of Garden Apartments.

Shoplifting: 4:35 p.m., 4010 A St. SE. Police busted a guy for shoplifting and for having drug paraphernalia on his person.

June 15

Theft: 8:40 a.m., 601 Oravetz Road SE. An unknown suspect smashed one of a car’s windows at Roegner Park and stole a laptop computer.

June 16

Prowl: 9:22 a.m., 3000 block of R Street Southeast. A bad guy smashed one of the windows of a parked vehicle, inserted his dishonest bones and stole the purse therein.

Theft: 3:42 a.m., 6205 Hazel Loop SE. A thief plucked a package off the porch of a residence and went on his or her felonious way.

Theft: 9:01 p.m., 1416 Harvey Road NE. A suspect stole more than $500 in perfume from a locked cabinet at the northend Walgreens.

Injured animal: 10:50 p.m., 900 block of I Street Northeast. A resident found a severely injured animal, and police euthanized the poor critter.

June 17

Shoplifting: 2:20 p.m. 4010 A St. SE. Somebody stole a bottle of hooch.

Theft: 7:45 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. A woman left one of her car’s windows partially down in the parking lot of the Muckleshoot Casino, and somebody stole a purse and a Vape.

Strong arm robbery: 11:48 p.m., 1406 Lake Tapps Parkway SE. A man pushed an employee of Haggen’s to the ground and stole a bottle of booze.
