Auburn Police blotter | June 30

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between June 18 and 22:

June 18

Controlled substance: 9 a.m., 300 block of 15th Street Northeast. An officer stopped this dude for a bicycle infraction, see, and eyeballed the errant pedaler trying to create a distance between himself and some incriminating drug paraphernalia he had on his person.

Vandalism: 12:53 p.m., 4205 Auburn Way S. An Auburn woman told police of her suspicion that the rock that smashed her rear window had something to do with her earlier firing of an employee.

Theft:3:55 p.m., 1310 Outlet Collection Way SW. Four females stole clothing from an Auburn business.

Assault with hands and fists: 5:44 p.m., 500 block of 1st Street Southwest. Police arrested a man for domestic violence assault.

Monkey says git!: 10:06 p.m., 124 2nd Street Southeast. The Spunky Monkey didn’t want this troublemaking gink around anymore, so police made the gink’s absence happen.

June 19

Weapons offense: 9:50 a.m., 620 37th St. SE. Police busted a student for having a knife at Mt. Baker Middle school.

Funny money: 10:30 a.m., 400 block of H Street Northwest. A customer tried to use a fake bill to pay a fee.

Fatal traffic collision: 5:32 p.m., 1100 block of 15th Street Northwest. Police pronounced a motorcyclist dead after a vehicle hit him.

Assault with hands and fists: 11 p.m., 2200 block of Auburn Way North. Police arrested a man for second-degree assault.

June 22

Vandalism: 12:30 a.m., 102 10th St. Somebody damaged a vehicle in their effort to get in and steal stuff.

Theft: 4:26 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. Police are investigating the theft of two phones from a cellphone business.

Creepy dude: 10:11 p.m., 1300 block of Auburn Way N. Police hauled a guy to jail for stalking and cyber stalking.
