Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Feb 20 and 27.

Feb. 20

Theft: 2:11 p.m., 514 E. Main St. A man complained that somebody had stolen a pistol from his vehicle last October.

Theft: 1 p.m., 2400 block of F Street Southeast. A woman called police to report theft and bogus activity on her niece’s trust fund account.

Shoplifting: 2:16 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. From a business, unidentified, did a male and female duo, no general age provided, steal seven jackets, their value undisclosed.

Street robbery by firearm: 6:53 p.m., 1420 69th St. SE. A carjacking and robbery with a firearm happened at Sunset Park.

Feb. 21

Assault with hands and fists: 2:30 a.m., 1400 block of A Street Southeast. Somebody assaulted and injured a guy.

Theft of vehicle parts: 12:15 p.m., 2300 block of Auburn Way North. Somebody stole another person’s axle.

Feb. 22

Trespassing: 11:08 a.m., 520 E. Main St. Personnel at a 76 gas station told a man and a woman to scram, get lost from said store and parking lot for their wrongdoings.

Obstructing justice: 8:30 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Police arrested a dude for the trifecta of obstructing justice, resisting arrest and having drug paraphernalia on his person.

Feb. 24

Theft: 6:35 p.m., 121 E. Main St. From a podium did somebody steal a seahorse made of car parts.

Sex offense: 6:50 p.m., 1186 Outlet Collection Way SW. Somebody exposed him or herself in an indecent manner to the disgust of somebody else.

Feb. 25

Vandalism: 3:18 a.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Having gambled away a large sum of money at the Muckleshoot Casino, a man, blaming the gaming screen, punched and damaged it, whereat the casino objected, and because of which police arrived to bust the unhappy fellow.
