Auburn Police blotter | March 8

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Feb. 28 and March 5:

Feb. 28

Theft: 10:30 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Somebody at the Muckleshoot Casino stole a cellphone from its rightful owner.

Trespassing: 12:40 p.m., 27 15th St. NE. Management at the ARCO AM/PM applied the ol’ five-year order of scramola to a woman of undisclosed misbehavings.

Assault: 11:24 a.m., 600 block of 7th Street Northeast. A woman reported that her husband had assaulted her last month.

March 1

Theft from motor vehicle: 3 p.m., 2402 Auburn Way S. Somebody broke into a vehicle parked at the Muckleshoot Casino and scuttled off with handbags and cash.

Alarm: 6:57 a.m., 1300 block of 42nd Street Northeast. Somebody intending to walk their dog accidentally set off a burglary alarm, summoning police.

Assault: 9:25 a.m., 800 block of I Street Northeast. Police busted a woman for assaulting her boyfriend.

Assault: 3:01 p.m., 6th Street Northeast. Police arrested a woman for taking a meat fork to her boyfriend.

Harassment: 6 p.m., 700 block of 22nd Street Northeast. A man reported that an employee of a mechanic shop had just threatened him with a hand-held stun gun after he, the customer, complained about shoddy mechanic work. The theatener left the area before police got there.

March 2

Bike theft: 12:42 p.m., 1347 Auburn Way N. A man stole a mountain bike from LA Fitness.

DUI alcohol or drugs: 8:08 p.m., 3700 Auburn Way N. After a man careened off of multiple power poles, police arrested him for DUI, hit and run, suspended driving, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice.

March 4

Fraud: 9:20 a.m., 2800 block of L Street Southeast. A scam ensnared an Auburn resident.

Shoplifting: 3:30 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Police busted a woman for trying to steal about $650 worth of groceries from Safeway.

Assault: 3 p.m., 3400 block of M Place Southeast. A girl told police that a teenage boy had assaulted and threatened her.

March 5

Weapons offense: 1:34 a.m., 1500 block of C Street Southwest. Police arrested a seven-time convicted felon for first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm while he was on probation.
