Auburn Police blotter | May 12

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between May 2 and 6:

May 2

Theft: 1:34 a.m., 110 block of I Street Southeast. Somebody stole a skateboard from a woman’s property.

Vandalism: 12:10 p.m., 711 E. Main St. An Auburn High School student flung a rock, hitting a vehicle that had been peaceably parked in a lot.

Controlled substance: 4:27 p.m., 1202 Outlet Collection Way SW. Police found a homo sapien slumped over a steering wheel in a parking lot at the Outlet Collection Mall and arrested said person for having drug paraphernalia.

Theft: 8:15 a.m., 11100 block of Southeast 313th Street. Somebody broke into a vehicle and made off with a bicycle.

Robbery by firearm: 10:45 p.m., 4248 A St. SE. Three men unknown robbed a woman at gun point.

May 3

Trespassing: 7:50 a.m., 1809 M St. SE. Coin Laundry told a very naughty woman to scram.

Animal problem: 8:45 p.m., 1100 block of L Street Southeast. A dog its owner had allowed off leash ran after a pedestrian.

Shoplifting: 10:30 a.m., 2715th St. NE. A man stole candy from an AM/PM.

May 4

Burglary: Overnight, 505 N. Division St. A man and a woman broke into an apartment complex laundry room and stole items undisclosed.

Animal problem: 11:18 a.m., 6800 block of Udall Place Southeast. A terminally-ill Auburn resident wished to surrender her dog to the Auburn Valley Humane Society shelter.

May 5

Trespassing: 2:20 p.m., 2900 A St. SE. Police arrested a woman for vehicle trespassing.

Assault: 7 p.m., 801 Auburn Way N. While a woman was trespassing, she decided to spice up her adventure by assaulting two police officers, and soon found herself in jail.

Assault with a knife: 10:52 p.m., 1400 block of 23rd St. SE. A woman slashed and stabbed her husband with a box cutter knife, causing her spouse multiple injuries. She barricaded herself inside the residence but police eventually arrested her.

May 6

Firearm robbery: 2:12 a.m., 601 Auburn Way S. Two men displayed a firearm during a robbery at a 76 gas station.
