Vandalism: 7:38 p.m., 710 block of 9th Street Southeast. Unknown yahoos wielding spray paint vandalized a fence.

April 27

Disorderly conduct: 3:55 p.m., 101 Auburn Way S. Two guys pounded away on each other in public, so police busted them, citing a dangerous weapon violation among the offenses.

April 28

Vandalism: Overnight, 1020 Deals Way SE. A person or persons unknown damaged a building’s windows in a local park.

Forgery: 8:58 a.m., 104 10th St. NE. Somebody stole two rent checks from an apartment mailbox, then altered and negotiated them.

Vandalism: 9 a.m., 1400 block of H Street Southeast. A gang defaced someone’s property by tagging.

May 1

Burglary: Overnight, 1425 22nd St. NW. Burglars prowled vehicles inside a fenced and closed business yard.

Vandalism: 5 p.m., 3000 block of M Street Southeast. Police busted this dude for malicious mischief, undisclosed, during an argument with his lady friend.

Theft: 9:44 a.m., 801 Auburn Way N. Somebody stole the seat off a bicycle that had been locked up on the Fred Meyer lot.

Metal theft: 8 a.m., 3260 B St. NW. Thieves unknown stole scrap metal that had been reposing behind a commercial warehouse.

Bike theft: 3:34 p.m. 1301 Auburn Way N. A homeless male stole a kid’s mountain bike, which the kid had left unlocked outside a store.
