Auburn Police blotter | Sept. 14

Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Sept. 4 and 8:

Sept. 4

Vandalism: Overnight, 762 Outlet Collection Drive SW. Somebody vandalized a vehicle’s gas tank, and in so vandalizing, spilled many gallons of gasoline onto the pavement.

Trespassing: 11:47 a.m., 1001 37th St. SE. A person walked into someone else’s abode, unknown, uninvited, and definitely unwanted.

Obstructing justice: 8:30 p.m., 2300 block of Skyway Lane Southeast. Police slapped cuffs on a guy for lobbing a litany of lies at a law enforcement officer.

Sept. 5

Assault with a knife: 1:34 p.m., 402 21st St. SE. Police busted a guy for assaulting somebody else with a knife.

Trespassing: 3:02 p.m., 1403 Auburn Way S. A woman got the three-year-long boot from an alley where she’d either been lingering too long or sporting herself in an objectionable manner.

Vandalism: 3:20 p.m., 1347 Auburn Way N. A security guard at LA Fitness Gym called police to report a vehicle break-in — of his own car.

Shoplifting: 7:55 a.m., 1310 Outlet Collection Way SW. Who knows what use he intended to put them to, but a man stole multiple women’s underthings from Victoria’s Secret.

Thievery: 9:30 p.m., 7078 Lakeland Hills Way SE. Somebody stole the contents of a purse from a business.

Sept. 6

Kid with cannabis: 10 a.m., 711 E. Main St. Police busted a youth who was in possession of marijuana.

Theft: Overnight, 28100 block of 109th Avenue Southeast. Somebody stole two pair of sunglasses from a woman’s vehicle.

Sept. 7

Theft: 8:52 p.m., 800 block of Auburn Way North. Somebody stole a woman’s purse.

Sept. 8

Assault with firearm: 2:03 a.m., 3500 block of D Street Southeast. A male complained that another male whom he did not know had shot at him.
