Auburn traffic advisories: Roadway reconstruction, nighttime work

On Tuesday, Aug. 8, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., roadway reconstruction work on the Wyncrest 2 Development Project will require alternating traffic on South 300th Street, from 64th Avenue South to 61st Avenue South. The work is dependent on weather.

Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction, but delays should be expected. Alternate routes are advised.

Elsewhere

• From Aug. 8 to Aug. 10, nighttime utility construction work will require restrictions of southbound lanes on Auburn Way North at 15th Street NE. Planned hours of work are 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Delays should be expected. Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction.

• On Aug. 8 and Aug. 10, the contractor for the Lake Tapps Preservation project will grind and pave the intersection at Lakeland Hills Way and westbound lanes on Lake Tapps Parkway between East Valley Access Road and Lakeland Hills Way.

The grinding and paving activities will require a full closure of westbound lanes on Lake Tapps Parkway and a signed detour will be in place. The night time hours of work are between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. Additional notices will be made as more night work is scheduled.

Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction. Please use caution and pay close attention to flaggers and construction sign directions.
