Fur, feathers, wagging tails and wet noses were back for a special day in the park.

Auburn’s 10th annual Petpalooza – a festival for pets of all sizes and shapes – invaded Game Farm Park for a day of celebration and entertainment.

Saturday’s free event featured live entertainment, including, among others, the Roving Reptiles, Northwest Animal Adventures and The Parrot Lady. Petpalooza had pony rides, Mud Bay’s Northwest Pet Contest, an agility area, the FlyDogs and agility demonstrations, and more than 150 vendors offered a variety of low-cost pet services, adoptions, samples, information and a large selection of animal-related products.

The Dog Trot Fun Run, a family-oriented fun run/walk, kicked things off. Participants chose between a 3K or 5K route.
