Work continues on the Auburn Way South Corridor Safety Improvement Project from Muckleshoot Plaza to Dogwood Street SE as follows:

Construction activities will require eastbound lane closures and early morning construction start times as follows:

• Wednesday, June 14 and Thursday, June 15: Muckleshoot Plaza to Riverwalk Drive SE from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• June 19 through June 22: Muckleshoot Plaza to Riverwalk Drive SE from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On June 15, utility work by Puget Sound Energy will require lane restrictions on Riverwalk Drive SE near the intersection with Auburn Way South from 7 p.m. (June 15) to 5 a.m. (June 16). Riverwalk Drive will be reduced to one-lane alternating traffic.

On Wednesday, June 21, due to a significant event planned at the White River Amphitheater construction activities within the roadway will end by 1 p.m.

The City would like to remind you to please use caution and pay close attention to police officers, flaggers and construction sign directions.

Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction. The work is dependent on weather.
