A woman who was heading east on East Main Street Sunday swerved to avoid a truck that had stopped in front of her near D Street, when, Auburn Police say, she mistook the gas for the brake pedal and instead drove into the front exterior of South Sound Insurance, damaging the building.

Police said the driver, who is in her 40s, was not impaired, and nobody was hurt.
