Families came to bring home a new furry friend from the Subaru Share the Love Adoption Event at Rairdon’s Subaru of Auburn on Saturday.

The Auburn Valley Humane Society had 30 animals – cats and dogs – up for adoption.

The fee-waived adoption event was available to the public after the shelter received a generous Share the Love Event grant from the ASPCA and Subaru.

There were prize drawings, goodies and snacks.
