Between April 2 and 8th, the Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 267 calls for service, among them the following:

April 2

Aid call: 11:09 a.m., (Algona). Firefighters examined a woman who was complaining of stroke symptoms, and a private ambulance transported her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

April 3

Aid call: 8:11 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters treated a middle-aged man who’d been riding a motorcycle when a vehicle hit him, and a private ambulance hurried him to MAMC.

April 4

Aid call: 4 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters came to the aid of a senior citizen who had fallen and hurt herself, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

April 5

Aid call: 9:27 a.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters and King County Medics came to the aid of a middle-aged woman who had overdosed and was not breathing, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

April 6

Aid call: 12:30 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters helped a senior citizen who was complaining of chest pain, and a private ambulance transported him to Highline Hospital.

April 7

Accident: 4:54 p.m., (North Auburn). Firefighters responded to a two-car collision on Auburn Way North in which both vehicles were a total loss, and transported a girl to MAMC with minor injuries.

April 8

Aid call: 8:53 a.m., (South Auburn). Firefighters evaluated a middle-aged man with coughing-induced chest pain, and provided him a taxi voucher for transportation to Valley Medical Center.
