June 6

Bathroom fire: 3:45 p.m., (Lea Hill). VRFA firefighters snuffed out a bathroom fire in a mobile home before it could extend into the attic or hurt anybody. Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.

June 7

Aid call: 12:57 p.m., (Pacific). Firefighters responding to a report of a woman in the throes of a seizure found her acting normally, and her family transported her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

June 8

Drive-by shooting: 2:55 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics assessed a young man shot in the arm during a drive-by shooting, treated him on scene, and a private ambulance drove him to MAMC for further treatment.

June 9

CPR: 5:14 a.m.,(Algona). Firefighters and King County Medics performed CPR on an elderly gentleman, and medics transported him to a local hospital.

Aid call: 6:59 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters responded to a man who was complaining of stroke-like symptoms, and a private ambulance hustled him to MAMC.

Aid call: 6:30 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters responded to an elderly woman who was complaining of being weak and dizzy, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

Accident: 1:42 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters treated a motorcycle driver who’d been thrown from his bike after colliding with a car and transported him to MAMC.
