Oct. 31

Accident: 3:10 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters who responded to a two-car, head-on accident evaluated two men, one woman and a girl, treated them for minor injuries, and a private ambulance transported them to local hospitals.

Nov. 1

Aid call: 2:15 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters responded to a young woman who was complaining of abdominal pain, and a private ambulance transported her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center (MAMC).

Nov. 2

Aid Call: 5:24 a.m.,(Algona). Firefighters responded to a man in seizure, treated him at the scene, and a private ambulance transported him to MAMC.

Nov. 3

Aid call: 9:30 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to an elderly woman who had used her Life-Alert pendant found her on the bathroom floor of her home with leg pain. Firefighters discovered that the woman had sustained injuries to her leg and needed to be transported to a local hospital, so they splinted her leg, and a private ambulance transported her to MAMC.

Nov. 4

Aid call: 8:44 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters evaluated a man with slurred speech and facial paralysis, and Boeing Fire transported him to MAMC.

Nov. 5

Service call: 6:30 p.m., (Lakeland). Firefighters responding to a report of flooding in a Lakeland Hills neighborhood found storm drains covered by debris and homeowners trying to clear the muck. Firefighters helped out, and the flooding dissipated shortly thereafter.

Nov. 6

Vehicle fire: 9:30 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded to reports of multiple explosions and what appeared to be trees on fire in the 3200 block of Green River Road. On arrival firefighters found a late model Dodge Ram 4-by-4 pickup truck that was fully involved in fire just off Green River Road in Isaac Evans Park. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. The fire is under investigation to determine the cause and origin.
