Auburn Police responded to the following calls for service, among many others, between Oct. 21 and 28:

Oct. 22

Accident 4:52 p.m., (north Auburn). Firefighters evaluated the people involved in a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries, and released them at the scene.

Oct. 23

Aid call: 2:30p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responding to man who was not breathing but was turning blue because of drug use arrived to find someone performing CPR on the man. Firefighters treated the man on scene, and a private ambulance transported him to a local hospital.

Oct. 24

Commercial fire: 10:48 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters dispatched to a small fire inside a business found that employees and an automatic sprinkler system had put out the fire. Firefighters shut down the sprinkler system to prevent further water damage and helped air out the structure. Investigators are trying to determine the fire’s cause.

Oct. 25

Downed wires: 3:26 p.m., (Lea Hill). Firefighters hustling to downed wires found a coaxial cable that was partially blocking a driveway. Crews moved the cable and notified the property owners.

Oct. 26

Aid call: (south Auburn). Firefighters evaluated a a middle-aged woman who had fallen while roller skating, possibly breaking her arm, and family members motored her to St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Oct. 27

A id call: 1:53 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters and King County Paramedics evaluated a senior citizen who was short of breath, and a private ambulance transported her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.

Oct. 28

Service call: 9:15 a.m., (Pacific. Firefighters responding to a tree into a building found that half of a tree had fallen onto a two-story duplex, causing minor damage. The other half of the tree was still standing but was rotten at the base. Firefighters cleared vehicles from the area and advised the landlord to remove the rest of the tree.
