A house fire in the city of Pacific early Monday afternoon displaced a family of five.

According to the Valley Regional Fire Authority, firefighters hustled to the fully-involved conflagration at 3rd Avenue Southwest and Milwaukee at about 2:45 p.m., and while they prevented the flames from spreading to other buildings, the home sustained signficant damage.

No one was hurt.

Investigators are on scene working to determine what happened.
