Charles Robert McAllister, 91, of Auburn died May 8, 2017. Born in 1925 and lived in the Enumclaw/Buckley area most of his early life.

He joined the Navy in 1943 and was honorably discharged in 1946. After he was discharged he went to work in the shipyards. He met mom in 1948 and they were married in 1950. They moved to Auburn in 1954 when he went to work for The Boeing Company, he retired after 43 years. They had four children. Steven died in infancy.

Susan, Carol and Dale all live in the Auburn area. He was a member of the Fraternal order of the Eagles; Lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge, Western Cascade 61; Retired member of the IAM union.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn R. McAllister; daughters, Susan J. Bedwell and Carol E. Rogers-Gorski; son, Dale H. McAllister. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
