DOROTHY “DOTTIE” MAPLES

Dorothy Olive Maples 96, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2018 at Auburn Hospital. Heaven is her new home.

Born May 5, 1922 in Coffeen, Illinois to Leonard and Avilla (Kimbro) Snow. She graduated from Coffeen High School in 1939. She married Harold Eugene Maples April 15, 1939 (Deceased).

Five children: Norma Drury (deceased); Survivors, Dottie Reams-Omak,WA, Butch Maples-Auburn,WA, Eldon Maples-San Tan Valley, AZ, Wanda Rankin-Westport,WA. She was blessed with fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.

She was an active member of her church many years. Her family and friends were very important to her, she loved them all. She enjoyed Bingo, Darts, Cards, Bowling. She was a longtime member of the Auburn Eagles 2298 and an Enumclaw Moose 798 member. She will be missed. We are planning a Celebration of Life at a later date.
