LLOYD VALLEJOS

Lloyd Vallejos, age 93, died Saturday, November 3, 2018 at his home in Auburn, Washington where he lived for 52 years.

He leaves his wife of 72 years, Sylvia “Cordy”, two sons, Ed and Geno, six daughters, Elaine, Yolanda, Diane, Sandy, Geri and Lisa; 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and his pride and joy, his little dog Chico. He has joined his first son, baby Leroy in heaven.

Born in Ignacio, Colorado on December 1, 1924, he served in the Army during World War II as a combat infantryman in several Pacific campaigns. After the war he came home and married his first love, Cordy, on April 6, 1946. After living in Colorado and Salt Lake City, he moved his family to Auburn in 1966.

During his work career, he worked as a mechanic and in construction. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, watching the Seahawks and working on crossword puzzles. He was deeply loved and he will be missed.
