PATRICK JAMES ROBINETT

Patrick James Robinett of Auburn, Washington passed away of natural causes Sunday, January 20, 2019. He was born March 28, 1954 in Seminole, Texas to James and Carolyn Robinett who preceded him in death. Pat is survived by his wife Kay Studevant, and his children and their spouses: Paula and Devin Berg, Nathan and Healea Robinett, Christopher and Ligia Robinett, Nicky Studevant, and Joel Studevant, and his granddaughter Ciara Berg, as well as his seven siblings: Cathleen Goetsch, David Robinett, Jean Roscoe, Mary Moss, John Robinett, Donald Robinett, and Christina Taylor.

Pat was full of life and brought laughter and love to everyone who knew him. He dedicated his life to service, always finding ways to help those around him. A crafty “Mr. Fix-it,” Pat spent countless hours building, remodeling, and repairing the homes of his loved ones. He also had a passion and gift for cooking, making wonderfully indulgent creations, and was most famous for his rich and amazing homemade ice cream. He was always ready to feed a crowd and was glad to share his favorite recipes. Pat was usually the first to say, “How can I help?” when friends and family were in need. Whether it was a meal, a home improvement project, or a supportive shoulder, you could depend on Pat to be there. Pat also gracefully taught and mentored those he helped so that they could independently help themselves in the future. His ease and willingness to share his talents was an inspiration to many. Pat was a Project Manager for Boeing and enjoyed all the friends he made there, and of course, the potlucks!

Pat was also very active in his church community, and in true form, was quick to volunteer. His generosity of time, talent, and philanthropy blessed many causes including REST, Celebrate Recovery, and Brooklake Motorsports programs. His ministries included Biker Blessings, car shows, oil changes for families in need, and so much more. Pat was a man whose life was a labor of love, leaving richer the lives of his family, his many friends, neighbors and colleagues.

A celebration of his life will be held at Brooklake Church in Federal Way, Washington on Saturday, February 2nd at 10:00 am, with a reception to follow. Charitable donations in Pat’s memory can be made to REST https://iwantrest.com/donate or World Vision https://donate.worldvision.org.
