Peter N. Schilz

On June 15, 2016, at the age of 88, Peter N. Schilz passed away at his home in Auburn, WA?. Peter was born on July 28, 1927 in Hebron, North Dakota to Peter and Mary Schilz.

After Peter ?graduated from high school, he went into the Navy. After leaving the Navy, he pursued his adventurous? ?spirit by moving to the Seattle area. He enjoyed a 30 year career with Burlington Northern Railroad.? ?After retirement, he bought a RV and traveled the country enjoying the freedom of the road and cherishing? ?new friends he met along the way. While he had many accomplishments, he particularly enjoyed his family? ?and the family holiday parties.? ?He will be greatly missed.

Peter is survived by his three children Pete (Pam), Bob (Pat) and Rosemary; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. He was preceded in death by a sister Betty Daily and two ?brothers, Nick Schilz and Matt Schilz.
