Richard E. Fahlgren of Auburn, WA passed away October 8, 2018.

Dick was born May 11, 1944 to Ernie and Eileen Fahlgren of Federal Way, WA

He was a sergeant in the U.S. army stationed in Korea, honorably discharged in 1967. In 1968 he married the love of his life Susan Serquinia. They were married for 50 years. Dick retired from Boeing in 2006 after many years with the company. He was an active member of the machinists union local # 751, including six years as president of the local. Dick had a green thumb with his vegetable and flower gardens, and loved camping in their 5th wheel at Grayland. He was always eager to help anyone who needed a hand no matter what the hour.

He is survived by his wife Susan, son Timothy Richard Fahlgren, daughter Christine Kinney and grandson Kaleo Kinney, sisters BettyJo McKinney (Larry), Norma Sherman (Brent) and Nancy Pflum. He was preceded in death by his sister Gladys Grosvenor (Jim).

A Memorial service will be held October 21, 2018 at 1’oclock at Yahn and Son Funeral Home.
